Finding and viewing bookmarks
Search, filter, and display your saved bookmarks the way that works best for you.
Faved is built to stay fast even with large collections, with several ways to find and view your saved links.
Instant search
Start typing and results appear instantly. Search matches a bookmark's url, title, description, or notes, so you can locate what you need right away even in big collections.
Filtering by tags
Select one or more tags from the sidebar to narrow the list to just those bookmarks. With rollups, choosing a parent tag also includes everything filed under its child tags. See Organizing with tags for how to build and manage your tag hierarchy.
Sorting
Sort your bookmarks by creation date, last updated date, title, description, URL, or notes to surface the most relevant or most recent links at the top. Click the same field again to flip the direction between ascending and descending.
Pagination
Move through large collections with simple pagination controls that show where you are and let you jump straight to the page you want.
Layouts
Switch between layouts to suit the task at hand:
- List view — a clean, readable list with clear visual hierarchy.
- Card view — a visual, image-forward grid that automatically adapts to your screen size, fitting as many items as possible on any device.
- Table view — a dense, productivity-focused layout with customizable columns.
You can show or hide specific fields to build the exact view that fits your workflow, and the sticky toolbar stays visible as you scroll for fast access to your most-used controls.
Stateful URLs
Your search query, selected tags, sorting, and pagination are all captured in the URL, so your view is fully preserved. Bookmark to reopen the exact same view later — and because every change updates the URL, your browser's back and forward buttons step through the views you've visited.
